I am a digital marketing strategist, and this gives me the freedom to work from anywhere. In fact, I’ve discovered some of my favorite cafes in Singapore this way.
I haven’t been in an office from 9 AM to 7 PM in a long time. It has not been easy if you ask me, because it can be challenging to move from one meeting to the other, carrying way too much in my backpack and losing time in transport. But then, there is a solution to everything. It just takes some organization skills and knowing your city better.
Like everything in life, you learn to adapt and make the best of everything. For me, it has pushed me to find new cafes, and share them with my clients. This also helps them discover places they may not know, and encourages them to step out of the office.
Mostly, I realized that I could kill 2 birds with one stone if I picked the place that would enable me to make the best use of my time. If you are in an office all day, you cannot really go out, except for lunch. So this would provide more opportunities.
Choosing a cafe depends on the mood of the day and the food I feel like having. Mostly, It makes me think about what is on my to-do list and if I can do something else as well: yoga, bookstore, flowers, grocery, etc.

I am French, so coffee means croissants! An ideal day begins with these. This is my favorite place in Singapore. I first discovered the Tiong Bahru location (on weekends) but during the week you will find me at The Club Street address. A great place to indulge in my favorite combo, get work done to their great playlist, and perfect for lunch meetings. My favorite dish here is Ravioles de Royan. A must!

If you are a coffee lover like me, this white decor coffee place is simply wonderful! Try their Colombian milk espresso. Great for inspiration on graphic design days.

The Social Space has a very nice Bali vibe, a huge window with natural light, and Wifi. I get to have my favorite smoothie bowl when I crave for it. They are all about conscious living, with amazing brands on display. You’ll also find a nail salon here.

I miss sitting outside outdoors and this cafe is the place I pick on a rainy day because I have the terrace almost all for myself. There is a great yoga studio by Yoga Movement where I can join the classes between my projects. That’s the cherry on the cake! If I am not on my bicycle, I love to walk back to the MRT Clarke Quay. It’s a nice break at the end of an intense working day! They have great salads and great pillows!

Group Therapy
This beautiful place has a very relaxed ambiance with wooden tables. It offers great coffee and the best pancakes on Saturdays. It is a hidden place up the stairs in busy Duxton Hill.
